We install bolt down rubber speed bumps in asphalt and concrete and this service does not need to be a part of a line marking job, we frequently install speed humps as a standalone service. We have various options available depending on what level of speed reduction is desired, as well as different fixing options to suit asphalt and concrete. We install speed bumps as night work to minimise disruption to our customers.
As a rule of thumb, speed bumps are priced per meter and are between $220-300 + gst per meter, installed.
We use only road rated speed bumps made from steel or reinforced HD rubber. These have 20 tonne load rating, meaning they are suitable for large trucks and will stand the test of time.
50mm tall speed bumps are suitable for moderate speed reduction and offer a reasonably balance between slowing traffic and creating a nuisance. 75mm tall bumps slow vehicles to a walking speed and are well suited to protecting blind corners and areas where sight distances are short.
