Bollards for NZ conditions
We install all kinds of NZ bollards to suit your requirements, predominantly for car park and pedestrian safety, but increasingly to deter ram raids. We offer bollard installation for car parks, warehouses, factories, schools, airports and other businesses. How Much Do Bollards cost in NZ?
Bollard costs in NZ, installed, range from around $200 to $500 each for surface mounted bollards or some call them bolt down bollards, depending on steel or plastic and whether they are galvanised, powder-coated or both. Of course, the larger the project the lower the price per unit.
Stainless steel bollards and removable bollards are available also, but these come at a higher price point.
What Type of Bollard Do I Need?
We generally recommend powder coated bollards for indoor use, galvanised and powdercoated bollards for outdoor installation, and stainless bollards where a premium look is required.
We find bolt down bollards are suitable for most customers, however they will only deter ram raiders, not stop them - if they are smart enough to know the difference. Dug in bollards with a concrete footing, a thick wall galvanised pipe and concrete filling are the only way to guarantee stopping a fast moving car.
