At Precision Line Marking we have an anti-slip solution to suit your needs with a variety of options to suit most budgets, desired longevity and chemical resistance. Texturised paint is the most cost effective which is a mixture of binders, pigments and fine aggregates, but for customers who prioritise reducing downtime for maintenance applications MMA or cold applied plastic may be a better solution. MMA/CAP is a two component coating that cures rather that dries. Similar to an epoxy or urethane but a different base chemistry, the result is a thicker and longer lasting coating - think green bus lanes.
Different colours are available, and it can be painted over with the spray machine so that lines, stencils and logos can be applied on top and maintain most of the slip resistance.
We can usually apply the non slip coating and spray over it on the same day, weather depending.
We also use highway grade anti skid on stairs and stair nosings to give greater slip resistance. We think they look good in white.
Anti-Slip, Non-Skid, High Friction - What's the difference?
Not a lot! There are lots of ways to skin a cat, although things have moved on from the old days when we would sprinkle some sand on wet paint (although that still works!). Global chemical suppliers have come up with some better, easier to apply and higher performing options for Non-slip surfaces. We are more than happy to have a chat about what would best suit your application.
